Moti Eilon, Adv. is a partner at Shekel & Co. 

Moti joined Shekel & Co. in 2007, and specializes in the fields of indirect taxation, including VAT, purchase tax, customs and excise tax. Moti previously served as the Director of the Customs and VAT Department and was a member of the Ministry of finance management team. 

He provides counsel and guidance to the firm’s clients, leading entities and corporations, on indirect taxation issues at various stages of their business and day-to-day operations. His practice covers ongoing consulting, tax planning, providing legal opinions, representing clients before the tax authorities and in courts at the various levels.

Moti lectures on indirect taxation at in-service training courses offered by the Israel Institute of Certified Public Accountants and periodically writes professional articles on these subjects. In addition to his role as Director of the Customs and VAT Department, Moti also served as a representative of the Minister of Finance on the Board of Certified Public Accountants. Moti was also a lecturer on a course on taxes at Tel Aviv University and in the College of Management Academic Studies.
